Featured Charities at Society B // A social business that donates 10% of all sales to charity

For the past few months, we’ve been working on our favorite project yet. And you helped us. (So thanks for that!)

You know how we donate 10% of all purchases to charity? We're still doing that...only now you get to tell us how. When you shop for goods that give back at SocietyB.com, you now get to choose which charity to support from 5 different non-profits.

And before we tell you more about those charities, we want to thank you for the role you played in this phase of Society B. Since October, we have featured one charity each month to which we donated 10% of our sales. There were just two problems with this giving model:

The charity featured in January would inevitably receive a much smaller donation than the charities featured during the holiday season.
And the giving wasn’t as meaningful to you, our customers, if we were essentially telling you where to give.

So back in January, we asked our customers to take a survey. And one of the questions on it was about which causes matter most to you. The top five causes from the survey results were:
